Enhanced Band Filling Effect and Broadband Multiwavelength Lasing in Plasmonic Nanocavities

Abstract:
We demonstrate size-confinement enhanced band filling effect to tune bandgap with low pump energy of 10 fJ/meV and large bandgap tunability of 263 meV. Broadband multi-wavelength lasing covering communication band is realized using plasmonic nanocavities.
